Ruby on Rails Vs. PHP

I'm a PHP aficionado, I've been using it for years, I know it well enough to be able to make a web app of any complexity given a certain long amount of time. Yesterday, I downloaded Ruby on Rails and started to play with it. I was really surprised at how fast and efficient development was. It really surprised me. If you haven't tried it yet, jump in, watch one of the sample videos they have on their website. I think the hardest part was installing the thing, and even that was easy.
